Jesus - Bible - FAQ'S

Indian Culture Indian Traditions Hindu Objections to Jesus Mandir Moksha Dallas Indian Desi Sadhguru

The world has seen an alarming rise in the culture of hatred and prejudices to promote their own ideologies/agendas. This is very much seen all over internet including social media & newsgroups. Studies have shown that overuse or wrong motives, social media sites primarily promote and draw attention to ourselves, it is time to take a step back. The reality of love is closely connected to Truth, Light, Goodness and Life. The importance and demands of love can be best learned from Yeshu's teachings, who is the fullness of Love Himself, and whose eternal Son, became incarnate in the Person of Jesus Christ. Our love for one another becomes worthy, when its sourced and nourished by our union with the same God.

God loves is unconditional and it must be spelled out in concrete stewardship of God’s creatures, especially to human beings. It is urgent and necessary that we all manifest jointly to the world that hatred can be overcome by love. Despite the great advances made in science and technology, each day we see how much suffering there is in the world on account of different kinds of poverty, both material and spiritual. Moral and spiritual poverty, caused by breeding hatred in one’s heart, can only be filled with love and compassion. Love creates trust, which in turn, promotes genuine relationships among all people. Yeshu who is Light of the world  – that can always illuminate a world grown dim and give us the courage needed to keep living and working. May our love finally overcome the darkness of hatred in the world!

Yeshu life a great story of all time, to everyone, everywhere, in every language, surpassing all regional and cultural boundaries of this world. In the world of so much misinformation and opinions, following FAQ's compiled from different sources to assist in understanding of Who is Yeshu (Jesus)? Who are Yeshu Followers? How do I know Bible is True? What is good news? How about my culture and identity?  Q & A..

Satsang word is Indian, why is your group called Yeshu Satsang? Dallas Indian Purpose Group language based?

Yeshu refers to Jesus. Satsang derives from the Sanskrit words sat (“being,” “essence,” or “reality”) and sanga (“association”). The word refers to gathering of the Truth with similar (spiritual) aspirations. We are all inclusive small group of Yeshu bhakta's  pre-dominantly from Indian sub-continent/South Asian/African regions. Our primary communication and purpose group discussions are in English, however we openly welcome and encourage all Indian origin languages and cultures. The Tower of Babel narrative in Genesis 11:1–9 explain why the world's peoples speak different languages.

How Indian word Guru applies to Jesus?

Guru is a Sanskrit term for a "teacher, guide, expert, or master" of certain knowledge or field. In the Bible Yeshu was often referred as Rabbi, a person had a reputation as a wise teacher or sage. Even the Jewish ruler Nicodemus thought that this title was appropriate for Yeshu: “Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the signs you are doing if God were not with him”.

I am from India. Why do I need Yeshu (Jesus)?

In this world, broken things are despised and thrown out. Damaged goods are rejected, and that includes people. The world is full of people with broken hearts, broken spirits and broken relationships. To us, broken things are despised as worthless, but God can take what has been broken and remake it into something better, something that He can use for His glory. The Lord is close to the broken-hearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Once you surrender and trust Him, God restores and transforms and  gives a meaning to your life, purpose and joy. ..all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

Yeshu belong to western/desert culture, not eastern/Indian?

Yeshu Himself was not European but Middle Eastern. His first followers were Jewish, but people from other cultural backgrounds (Jews, Romans, Greeks, Asians, Africans, Arabs, etc) quickly began to follow Him too. The message about Yeshu—the gospel—actually arrived in India before it came to much of Europe. According to tradition, the Apostle Thomas, one of Yeshu 12 disciples (followers), followed the trade routes to India. In Kerala, in southern India, you can see a beautiful beach where he is believed to have landed. He went on to tell people about Yeshu in both north and south India before dying near Chennai. If you look at Saint Thomas Yeshu followers have heavy influence of the ancient Hindu traditions in the lifestyle of a typical nasrani (aramaic term for 'Believer of the Nazarene'). For ex: Vidyarambham (Start of learning), New born baby ritual, Dance Style (Margam Kali, Thiruvathira), instruments (Chenda), festival rally with umbrella, Lamp, Temple structures - Palli, marriage sacraments, thali, goldlen thread, etc. Nasrani ancestors didn't find it sensible to let go of the rich Indian culture and traditions just because of changed our God of worship. So for almost 2000 years after St. Thomas created the first Yeshu followers community in India, still acknowledge their Hindu ancestry today. Indian Yeshu followers no matter wherever they live retain or embrace Indian traditions such as respect for elders and the importance of the strong family ties.

Whenever I meet someone or go to a Yeshu Mandir, I experience arrogant people and religious practices?

First of all, it is human nature to be arrogant and flawed. One cannot blame just Yeshu followers alone, spread in different cultures of the world (2.18 Billion +). Yeshu Mandir is not social/cowboy or cliquish club or a building you go casually once a week; a Mandir is nothing but full of broken people (like a nursing baby in the hospital) who come together to thank Yeshu for what He has done in their life, seek forgiveness for their shortcomings, and encounter holy spirit thru Yeshu's teachings. Its possible some do not know how to present themselves or we simple judge them based on our own preconceived notions/fears or do not align with our ideology. Need to admit our own ignorance on several fronts, who think all Yeshu followers descended from the British and American or low caste or less patriotic or do not belong to India just because they have different names or place of worship or women clothing/external attire is different compared to the mainstream population nor are they angrez ki aulad. Regardless of your beliefs, if you see world cultures evolved and liberalism has taken over many aspects(beliefs, traditions, gender classification, clothing, etc) of society today. Bible teaches modesty, focus inside that matters most and developing our inner beauty so that it can be reflected in everything we do and what we are. Bible teachings and truths remain, relevant the same thru the ages. Bible says and Yeshu greatest teaching "Love Your Neighbor as Yourself" and ", "Love Your Enemy", and  "Children like character will be First to enter the Kingdom of God". Its not a physical space but a spiritual place which every human can enter. Yeshu teaches and ask all to follow Him as example with love and humility.

I went to Catholic convent schools in India and know how you promote Christianity?

Most Indian parents prefer and benefit sending their kids to convent schools because of infrastructure, moral values, discipline, teaching, overall environment, and quality of education are generally good. It is unfair to say that schools promote only Christianity because of prayers and hymns. If that holds true Christian population in India would be far more larger than what it is now had the schools promoted Christianity. If you go to any other non-convent school, don't they conduct prayers? Saraswati Prardhana every morning. Optional Bhagawat Geeta or Slokas or Carnatic Music classes. Every year Guru Purnima and other festivals celebrated with grandeur. Does it mean that they promote Hinduism?

Christian Faith is Western (Caucasian), do I leave my culture?

It’s true that it has very much influenced Western culture. But following Yeshu is not about culture, language or outward appearances. It is about a relationship. Yeshu came to open the way to God for all people from every background and country. Yeshu message is about everyone’s need for inner change—change to a life with God at the center. That is our deepest need. You do not have to give up your culture to become a Yeshu follower, it has Jewish and other influences at the beginning, now Yeshu followers are every where, and truly international. When it comes to helping and caring other family members who not yet received Yeshu, the bottom line is that we do simply  love and care for them! Genuine love and concern, backed by prayer as Paul did for the Gentiles and reflects how Yeshu  treats us in a loving way with grace.

What is Yeshu Mandir? Who are Yeshu followers?

The original Greek Ekklesia mentioned 107 times in the Bible always refers to Truth Seekers (not a building or place you go to do something) - meant a gathering, assembly. Early home purpose group DNA was "Koinonia" (Greek word means partner, sharer, and companion) a deep connection with others thru love, teaching the Truth from bible, prayer, accountability, help the needy, and encouraged to live outwardly.. A true Yeshu follower is someone who genuinely examine themselves, repented from his paap, believes in Yeshu for the forgiveness of his paap to begin a new life (Naya Jeevan), keeps Him #1, follows Him daily, becomes child of God, obeys like a child to parent, shares good news with others, and gives priority to heavenly treasure more than anything else. Yeshu followers with divine wisdom is always fair to others, gentle, patient, forbearing, courteous and is never harsh or rough but always considerate of the feelings of others and can bear with one another - even if some are slow of understanding or crude in their manners. They are full of mercy - forgive anyone freely and cheerfully from the heart. Like Yeshu, they usually have compassion towards others. This mercy is not just a mental attitude but action with good fruits. They are dependable - who can be trusted at all times to keep their word, steadfast and unmovable. They care more about inward spiritual content and joyful life than external show or others opinion. They watch their inner thoughts, motives and attitudes far more than external words and longs for God's approval of  their inner life.

What do Yeshu followers think about their birth place India?

There is the huge number of stereotypes and misconceptions - for a lot of people in India, their idea of Christianity is heavily influenced by the British colonial rule India for 200 years prior to Independence in 1947, Western media, movies and books. Many Yeshu followers respect local cultures and traditions they live in, do not kiss in mandir or make vows or steak for dinner every day. Most people also consider us ‘Westernized’ even though we’re Indian as you are. All those experiences you consider Indian happen to all of us too like relatives, to Sharmaji ka beta, and  from marriage to log kya kahenge. They think of us,  who just want to convert everyone into their faith which is not true. Many accept Yeshu becaue of spiritual encounter, not because someone offered money or other benefits. Some others think, we having no respect for Indian traditions/culture or look down upon us for eating meats that they consider sacred or dirty. We might be of a different faith but are from the same country. There are people who celebrate our festivals (Christmas) with us, and invite us to celebrate their festivals. There are people who come to Yeshu Mandir, just because of the calm and the peace they get when they pray there. There are several people who learn our songs, cuisine and language because they genuinely appreciate it. There are many desi people who went and send their kids to convent/Catholic schools & tell it was one of the best times in their life. Seriously, my faith and my country do not clash with each other, both are strong aspects of my identity of who I am.

What is the role of Yeshu followers in the world full of darkness (hatred, racism, etc) reflects indifference to humanity and ignores the inherent dignity of the creator in each of us?

According to Bible  every human being is made in the image of God and a strong need to affirm the God-given worth, dignity and equality of men and women from every tribe, language, people and nation. As followers of  Yeshu we are instructed to pursue righteousness and justice, personally and throughout our culture. The Bible calls us to love one another (Matthew 22:39), bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2) and to consider not only our needs but the needs of others (Philippians 2:4). We are commanded to act justly, love mercy and to walk humbly with God (Micah 6:8). As followers of Yeshu and undeserving recipients of His grace, we acknowledge the brokenness of how we have related to one another. This reveals itself in how individuals and groups are treated based on the certain profile. This is counter to the heart of God who creates each individual in His image, with infinite value. We also own that over the years, Christ followers, including ourselves, who in fallen nature, have turned a blind eye and failed to speak up. Often, we have not taken the time to listen, learn and lament. In the power of the Holy Spirit we are committed to seek change in our own lives. In this time of anguish and turmoil it is only the love of God that can reshape both heart and character. Each of us is created by God for a relationship with Him. Jesus Christ alone is our hope. His unconditional love offers the opportunity for a restored relationship, by faith, through His death and resurrection. This should be our message to the world as we proclaim and live out the love of Jesus.

Yeshu an avatar of Krishna?

Krishna is the incarnation of Narayan (also known as Vishnu with 24 Avatars, English). Where as Yeshu, who born of a virgin are not the same. Read more, was Yeshu an avatar. In-contrary to multitude of Hindu avatars, many believe Yeshu as very unique. His coming was perfect in purpose and sufficient in providing right teaching and a restored relationship to God, Yeshu came to save sinners and is not willing that any should perish, and  Yeshu’s eternal purpose (Ref: Incarnation). Yeshu said in  Bible teaches man can do nothing to earn or pay his way into heaven. Man, a slave to the Paap nature he was born with, must completely rely on the grace of God in applying Yeshu sacrifice to the Paap of the person. People are saved by faith in the death and resurrection of Yeshu. Upon death, the spirits of followers go to heaven.

Trimurti and Trinity, same correct?

Trimurti is not like the Trinity. Brahma (the creator), Vishnu (the preserver) and Shiva (the destroyer) are temporally differentiated. Not so with the Trinity - Father (God above us), the Son (God among us) and the Spirit (God within us). They are equally active in every age. In the beginning, in the end, and in between. Bible reveals a Trinity of God - the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit all co-equal, co-existent, co-eternal, and co-divine (Ref: Trimurti).John 10:30 I and the Father are one." John 8:58 "Very truly I tell you," Yeshu answered, "before Abraham was born, I am!" Isaiah 9:6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. You may need to note Trinity is most difficult concept (1=3) even for many Christ followers. Because God is infinite,  Trinity is usually developed gradually as you read and experience deeper truths of the Bible.

Whole Yeshu death was made up. Yeshu wasn’t really dead when His body was removed from the cross?

No, it’s not possible. And we can know this with certainty for several reasons. Apart from Gospels, independent researchers have uncovered that twelve reliable, non-Christian sources, dated approximately 20 to 150 years after Yeshu’s crucifixion, record that Yeshu died. One of the sources, Cornelius Tacitus (AD 55-120), is considered by many to be the greatest ancient Roman historian. (Ref:Crucifixion Details of the Resurrection of Christ)

I consider animals as sacred. In pictures, why is Yeshu holding a sheep in arms?

It is interesting and important that the Bible calls all of his followers as sheep. Like a good shepherd leads lost sheep from front, we need to be lead and cared for in this lost world. We need protection and provision. We desperately need a shepherd, and The Lord takes that title upon himself. Abuse of any animal is strictly prohibited.

I am a strict Vegetarian? Why do you eat meat?

From the creation story in Genesis, Yeshu followers are taught that animals, and even all of creation, is under man's dominion and stewardship. You personally do not want to eat you do not have to (veg or non-veg), but you should also not judge what others eat. Consider 1 Cor 10:31 (NIV): So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the Glory of God. It’s not what goes into your mouth that defiles you; you are defiled by the words that come out of your mouth (Matthew 15:11).

Why do you wear shoes inside worship centers? Is it not unclean?

It has to do more with the evolution of the various practices as per the environmental conditions and public hygiene rather than anything said in the Holy books or the prophets. Initially when Yeshu followers spread to Europe, you need to take into account that colder weather is typically ranging from cold to very cold at least for 6–8 months round the year. So you cannot walk on any surface barefooted unless it is sufficiently heated or insulated. Therefore you need to wear shoes or sandals in order to protect your feet from catching the cold. This is also true when you are at home. Almost everyone in colder region (Europe/US) will have a pair of flip flops/sandals/home shoes for indoor use. Hinduism/Buddhism initially spread In warmer regions, you do not need to wear shoes or sandals in order to protect your feet. In fact, the use of outside Shoes in your home is discouraged in India and subcontinental region because it is a potential source of bringing in germs and bacteria from outside into your house. Best practices according to the surroundings where they originated become rules and then convert into tradition…

Why do some  women wear head covering at Yeshu gatherings?

In India, Language (or dialects)/cultural traditions/practices/dressing/food habits (22 major languages written in 13 different scripts with over 720 dialects) can be vastly different as you travel 100 miles either direction. Regardless of beliefs, In various parts of India head cover (dupatta, veil, etc) is still practiced to respect elders, follow traditions and on special occasions. Head covering was developed in sandy areas to keep sand and dirt out of the hair and eyes. Biblical history and scriptures tell, It is done to express obedience and modesty. Today, head coverings were a custom or tradition in some places, not in others. Yeshu teachings are about all in the spiritual development and growth of the soul, and not outward physical appearance. The same principle applies to women’s hair, makeup, sarees, ghagras, and jewelry, and sometimes men’s facial and head hair, in some gatherings. If you read scriptures like 1 Peter 3:3–6 and many miss the entire point of becoming more SPIRITUAL, and taking the emphasis off of the PHYSICAL, in the form of clothing, jewelry, etc. It is human fallen nature, who in flesh (old nature) loves to form little groups (cliques) make rules and break them, while demanding others follow them. In Yeshu’s days, there were scribes and pharisees with religion of rules/attitudes Yeshu confronted openly, and they still exist today. Yeshu taught a spiritual new life based on New Covenant (NT) He established by being the promised Messiah, it is the spirit that gives life, not the flesh. (2 Cor 3:6)

What is Tithe and Offerings. Should I give a certain percentage?

The dictionary defines the word “tithe” as a tenth part of something paid as a voluntary contribution or as a tax especially for the support of a Faith establishment. It was a common practice in the Old Testament and was required of members of the nation of Israel. New Testament (Yeshu) talks about, the matter of your giving is between you and God, and always take into account your circumstances. The important thing is that we see giving as a privilege and not a burden or fulfillment of duty, but rather out of love for the Lord to support kingdom work spreading good news and helping the needy.

There are so many gods, Guru's, etc in the world. How is Yeshu unique?

Yeshu beckons “all you who are weary and burdened” to come to Him (Matt:11:28). The inclusive Yeshu associated with the most unlikely of people, even the social outcast (Luke:19:1-10) and the sinner (Luke:15:1-7). Yeshu offers instant forgiveness and abundant life to anyone who have change in heart and seeks a relationship with Him.The Gospel of Yeshu is intended for the whole world. As John wrote: “I looked and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people, and language, standing before the throne and in front of the Lamb” (Rev.7:9)

I like Yeshu but don't like preachers. Why most are not like Yeshu?

It is not about preaching a religion as some perceive, but Yeshu before ascending into Heaven, commanded all His followers to share good news with all in the world. God has throughout time, skeptics have regarded the Bible as mythological, but archeology has confirmed it as historical. Opponents have attacked its teaching as primitive and outdated, but its moral and legal concepts and teachings have had a positive influence on societies and cultures throughout the world. It is unfair to compare all (or any including preachers) with Yeshu who is a pefect role model. Those who are in Yeshu are at different levels of spiritual maturity (fruitfulness) based  on their daily walk and obedience to Yeshu teachings. Sanctification (cleansing) is a work in progress (in the fallen world) and in practice no one has arrived at the perfect level.

Why do you have multiple denominations? What is Catholicism & Protestant Reformations?

Yes, there different branches and denominations because we are all very different people however fundamental Truths do not change and all still united in Christ. However considering the human inability to see the truth clearly at all times, and differences of opinion exists on some aspects of bible and its importance.Catholicism history reaches back to ancient times with Pope as head. See Catholicism, Protestant vs Catholicism. Protestant Reformers (Martin Luther) developed what would be known as the “Five Solas” (sola being the Latin word for “alone”). These five essential points of biblical doctrine clearly separate Protestantism from Roman Catholicism.

What are cults/unorthodox/non-Christian groups?

Best way to know cult is who is Yeshu to them? Most people in cults seem very nice because they are into ‘good works’. They  try to earn moksha by self-effort (not Biblical). Another sign is they have a human founder whom they highly exalt and follow. Often have their own version of the Bible (with some changes) or other books they follow, usually written by the founder. They add and take away from the Bible, which is forbidden. Most Christian book stores have cult sections that include Mormons/LDS, Jehovah's Witnesses, Scientology, Christian Science, Moon's Unification Church, Branch Davidian, People's Temple, etc. For more info on unorthodox groups, ref:cults, List of cults and non-Christian groups Some of these folks well dressed with a big friendly smile, claim as Christians with their own version of scriptures & beautiful colored booklets, knock your doors and very much visible at train/bus stations, busy street corners, library's, airports, etc. They will not disclose, but many of these groups are unofficially barred by all  mainstream Yeshu denominations.

How do I evaluate who is genuine and telling the Truth?

General rule of thumb, group is non-Christian when it denies essentials such as deity of Yeshu involves Trinity, The Resurrection of Yeshu, Salvation by Grace alone. Bible also warns about The prosperity gospel movement closely resembles some of the destructive greed sects that infiltrated the early Church. Paul and the other apostles identified them as dangerous and urged all followers to avoid them. Also be aware of charismatic movements with new apostles, new faith healers, and self-styled miracle workers. Bible says test all spirits, to see whether they are from God  when a person or spirit is claiming to speak for God, we are to be discerning hearers and readers of all messages. Do not just go by your own conditioned feelings, friends's or cultural biased opinions that may not be true. We shouldn't just judge and criticize all by looking at few or know the buzz words or superficial knowledge of the bible. We must read, examine, and have a clear understanding of what Bible verses mean and how God's love story fits together. Be like a Berean, Read & Learn from Bible, no matter who is teaching, investigate new teaching in comparison with the Bible and grow spiritually (Acts 17:10-12).

I celebrate Christmas in Dec with Santa Clause and 4th of July fireworks, isn't same as Diwali (Deepavali)?

Both celebrated once a year, however Christmas and Diwali are very different. Diwali (Deepavali) is the "Festival of Lights" or row of diyvas - clay lamps(Fireworks celebration symbolizes victory over evil;  goddess Lakshmi, who symbolizes wealth, happiness and prosperity, is also worshiped)  while Christmas is the birth of Yeshu. The exact date of Yeshu birth is unknown, as the Bible does not give specifics as to the dates of either His birth or conception. But in the second century AD, a Roman Christian historian named Sextus Julius Africanus calculated Yeshu birth date to be December 25 (nine months after Yeshu was conceived, according to Africanus).

What is X-mas?

What people celebrate X-mas is NOT Christmas. X (symbol for Christ, from the Greek letter chi (X), initial of Christos Christ) + -mas (in Christmas)  (Ref: Webster). There is no denying that there is a trend to, take Christ out of Christmas. In pursuit of tolerance, inclusiveness, and political correctness, some are attempting to obscure the origins and meaning of Christmas. Whether they refer to it as “Xmas” or “the winter holidays” or something else, consumerism (Santa, Rain-deer, Competing Yard Decorations with Lights, Black Fri Shopping, etc.) has overtaken the significance and true meaning of Christmas in the modern age and has no connection whatsoever to Yeshu's birth.

.

Is Prajapathi & Sacrifice fulfilled thru Yeshu?

This is not to claim the original identity of the Prajapati in Vedas. According to Bible, In Yeshu All things came into being by Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being” (John 1:3). “In the beginning, Lord, you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands” (Hebrews 1:10). Yeshu (the angel of YHWH being the eternally-incarnate Yeshua of Nazareth) is the True Prajapati.

Why do most Christ followers refuse to accept Prasadam?

Most Yeshu followers love to have a friendly meal with anyone or accept Indian food & snacks offered in friendly sharing. When you accept Yeshu into your life, In the Bible there is a command to participate in the Lord’s table. Lord's table is reserved only for Yeshu followers, they do not ask anyone else to participate. There may be other Biblical reasons but mainly they do not take both Prasadam and Holy communion at an an equal understanding. Either they participate in Lord’s table or eat the Prasadam but not both. Its good to respect individual comfort levels and sentiments.

Once you become Yeshu follower, do you change caste or name?

Caste / culture / lineage is a social / civilization concept. You can be added to lineage by birth or by marriage. If someone makes India as their home, even if you are foreign born, you will be assimilated in a few generations. When we are talking about become a Yeshu follower, we are not talking about social aspect. We are talking about inward / spiritual journey. This spiritual transformation is not bound by time, region, culture or lineage. You follow a spiritual journey where such identities are meaningless. According to Bible, all are equal before Yeshu and God created every man in same manner without any discrimination. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:28).

What does Bible say about submit and obedience to Human authorities?

Whether the Bible uses the terms “master,” “ruler,” “government,” or any other name for an established authority, the instruction is always the same – obey. We must remember that God created the authorities ruling over us just as He created us. As Paul wrote to the Romans, “Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves” (Romans 13:1-2)

What exactly is sin (paap)? How does it fulfilled thru Yeshu?

From Indian context, it varies and very complex, paap and punya come from a worldview where actions (Karma) are deemed good or bad depending on the other person's point of view. paap is a relative word, something which you consider as paap may be acceptable to some others. For every action you do, there will be a consequence which is may be good or bad for you! This is called “Karma”. Paap is described in the Bible anything going against God and His laws. No one knows better than Jewish people what paap means and penalties. The Hebrew phrase for “paap offering” literally means “fault offering.” The paap offering was made for paap committed in ignorance, or unintentional paap. The ritualistic method of the paap offering and the animal to be offered varied depending on the status of the paapi.  We are all three times condemned due to inherited paap, imputed paap, and personal paap. NT describes the only just penalty for this paap is death (Romans 6:23), not just physical death but eternal death (Revelation 20:11-15). Thankfully, inherited paap, imputed paap, and personal paap have all been crucified on the cross of Yeshu, and now by faith in Yeshu as the Savior “we have redemption through His sacrifice, the forgiveness of paap, according to the riches of His grace” (Ephesians 1:7).

I believe god is everywhere? What is Biblical view?

From some point of view, everything, as diverse as it appears to us, is ultimately one. People, houses, trees in the park, insects—all things are in their essence Brahman. Brahman is the infinite, eternal, unborn, and undying, non-personal reality of which everything else is a manifestation. We understand God is everywhere, but God is not everything. For example, we might say God lives inside a person, but that indwelling does not make that person God. That would be idolatry! Some even believe God is created by us. Bible scriptures clearly state the distinction between creator and creation (Like Good and Bad cannot be same). The Bible issues strong warming to those who confuse God with His creation (Rom 1:22,23). God is wholly independent of the material universe—surpasses time and space. He is both far and near, stay separate from us because of our paap and His Holiness, and chooses to draw near to us through Christ who broke down the barrier of separation.

I grew up with Bhajans using Indian instruments. What is your view?

Bhajan is the term used in India to describe a devotional song sung to a deity. It is derived from the Sanskrit word bhaj which means, “to share, partake” and is also related to the term bhakti, which means “devotion.” The bhakti tradition focuses on personal, loving devotion to God. Bhajans were developed from the bhakti tradition and many came from famous bhakti poets such as Ramananda, Surdas, Kabir, Tukaram, and Mira Bai. For those who follow Yeshu, singing songs that glorify Yeshu is a part of sharing in the experience (anubhav) of the risen Lord. Yeshu followers in India have used bhajans throughout history, some of of the bhajan writers were Purushottam Choudhary (1803-1890), Narayan Vaman Tilak (1861-1919), Anil Yesusdas (US). For Choudhary and Tilak, bhajans were their natural form of expressing worship. Their bhajans reflect the bhakti tradition in which they were raised.

I am into Buddhist/Indian meditations and Happy Living classes. Is Biblical meditation same?

What is the difference between man's and Biblical Wisdom & Heavenly Treasures?

Earthly vs Heavenly Treasures ; Human vs Biblical Wisdom

I live in the US have everything in my life, like to enjoy, well settled big family, friends, luxury latest model electric cars, Iphones/Ipads, cash/investments, jewelry, lands, farmhouse and properties both here and India. Why do I need Yeshu now?

Who wrote Bible? How is it divine inspiration and sufficient?

Bible was written by approximately 40 men of diverse backgrounds over the course of 1500 years. Isaiah was a prophet, Ezra was a priest, Matthew was a tax-collector, John was a fisherman, Paul was a Tent maker, Moses was a Shepherd, Luke was a Physician (Bible Authors). The Bible, spanning 66 books in the Old and New Testaments combined. It is the best selling book of all time with over 50 billion copies sold and distributed. According to Wycliffe Global Alliance, at least one portion of Scripture has been translated for 3,350 of the 7,099 existing languages; the Bible in its entirety has been translated in 683 languages. The Holy Bible is not only inspired. Bible is sufficient for all things in Faith and Life, divine inspiration.

Did Jesus (Yeshu) write four Gospels?

Yeshu often spoke, traveled extensively and showed His work thru teachings, miracles, healing, etc.Yeshu's main intention was spreading the word about the Kingdom of God is to be the #1 and He felt he had just a short time to do his work, that it would all come to fruition very soon. Yeshu did not come to write history - He came to make history and change the future. Yeshu's mission was to provide a way of moksha (salvation) for mankind - He achieved that mission - other people had the mission of writing the gospels - they achieved what was needed with the Holy Spirits help.

Why aren't reading the four Gospel's enough knowing Yeshu fully?

The four Gospel accounts (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) are a good beginning, tell the life of Yeshu and the good news from multiple perspectives. While the Gospels are helpful and important because they detail the life and death of Jesus Christ, the epistles are just as valuable, for they help us understand what it means to live as a Christ follower without our savior right in front of us. Yeshu himself said much the same: “All this I have spoken while still with you. But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you” (John 14:25-26). In addition, Triune God didn’t start working when Yeshu was conceived in flesh. There’s much more to the story than just His 3.5 year Yeshu's ministry. In fact, without the Old Testament we would have no understanding of who God is and who Yeshu is. Gospels also don’t specifically highlight the importance of trusting Faith in God and how it aligns us with His will. They don’t tell us how to live in the Spirit, live with gifts of the Spirit, live as a one body of Christ, not much about waging war against the flesh and Satan. Much more information how to live as Yeshu follower, about Satan and the demonic influences are revealed throughout the New Testament Pauline epistles. And without the final revelation we wouldn’t have as clear of an understanding of who the anti-Christ and false prophet will be and how to avoid them. We’re also given a wonderful picture and promise of the new earth and eternal life. Because Yeshu is the fulfillment of God’s purposes, and those purposes began to be displayed with Adam and Eve. While we often fall into the delusion that our lives are about our own happiness, the Bible says they’re about God’s Glory that is shown in His covenant relationships with man, from Adam to me. In Yeshu (2nd Adam), we see fulfilled what was foreshadowed in the Old Testament sacrificial system, in the Passover, in the covenants God made with Noah, Abraham, etc.

Apart from four Gospels, why does Bible include Paul's letters?

Paul has the most books (13 out of 27) in the New Testament because his life is a great testimony, a former "Christ hater",  dedicated to violent crimes could be changed so much after knowing Yeshu on the way to Damascus. Those ‘books’ are letters Paul wrote to the various Yeshu groups he had started in various cities. And he wrote letters because telephones nor even telegraphs existed in those times. Paul was a missionary, as he traveled around starting and visiting new Yeshu groups, so Holy Spirit had him write letters to these Yeshu followers (and to us) for instruction and encouragement in their walk with Christ. Since he traveled so much, he knew more Yeshu groups, and had more people to write to. The Letter to the Ephesians reveals the mystery, which is the body of Christ, that was hidden from the foundation of the world to be revealed in the end times prior to second coming. The other Letters of Paul are written to clarify the government, conduct, and duties of the body of Christ. In general, the letters written by the Apostle Paul addressed the issues that were confronting the spread of the Good News into the Roman-Greek world and beyond. As Paul wrote to one of the Yeshu Groups he founded, “I commend you for receiving the things I've written to you not as just my words but as God's very Word”. Apostle Paul was a very structured thinker, often referred as someone “turning the world upside down”, seriously trained in the Old Testament scripture by one of the greatest rabbi's in history. Once he became a Christ follower he put the pieces together like no one else could. God revealed to him the plan for His family to grow in multitudes from all nations.

If God Is Good, Why Does Pain, Evil, and Suffering Exist? Violence Has Been Done in the Name of God You Can’t Trust the Bible and Science Christianity is Intolerant The Church is Full of Hypocrites The Bible Was Written by Men Christianity Has Made No Positive Contributions to Society (Ref: Truth Aflame - Bible Accusations and Answers) How do you know Bible is True Science confirms Bible Questions and answers about Yeshu (All), Ten Hard Spiritual questions and responses

Bible has many versions? How can I trust Bible as authentic and True?

They are not all different versions, just different translations. It is translated from the original writings, which are Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek. The Old Testament was written in Hebrew, the New Testament in mostly Greek, which was very widespread, much as English is today. Aramaic had by Christ’s time replaced Hebrew as the native language of Palestine. The goal of translators to reproduce the original meaning as closely as possible. These translations have been done in different places at different times. For example, the King James bible is just a translation done by scholars during the reign of King James in England in the 1600s. This a very good translation, but our English has changed so much since then that it’s hard to understand. That’s the one with all the thee's and thou's. It is better to get a more modern translation (NLT, NIV, NASB, ESV, NKJV, CSB, NET, Blue Letter, etc) which is written in plain English that’s easy to understand.  For more info - Bible Translations, Bible Resources: Puritan Library. In the Bible, Yeshu makes various promises, many based on the historical reliability and some prophecies. You can claim these promises by Faith, as you go thru different life circumstances. God is still the same as He was in Bible times - people changed, but God did not. He is still trustworthy and so as His word. As one get to know Him better thru Bible (His love letter to humanity), leads to new wisdom, relationship and experiences will confirm more of it as True. And this will grow one's Faith to trust the God of the Bible even more. This is a process and sure is worthwhile! This is how you know that the Bible is True.

Why do you speak so loud about Bible? Why read Bible every day?

Unlike many other books of the world, Bible is a unique book of books written over 1500 years by many authors inspired by the Holy Spirit. Bible is sufficient, it has everything man needs to know about God in order to have a right relationship with God. Most natural laws of the world believed to have derived from more superior God's laws. Bible's time tested principles, intersects your inner most thoughts and reveals Truths on a daily basis when you read. Bible scriptures are alive and active. sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Bible may hurt you temporarily (like a scissor in the hands of a surgeon performing surgery) with a Truth but it will never comfort you with a dangerous lie.

What is Gospel? Why is it called good news?

Gospel in English derives from godspel, meaning "good news". Similarly, in the Greek in which Mark wrote, evangelion means "good tidings".  It is good news because it offers a solution to humanity's sufferings, frustrations, and perpetual troubles.

In India, tribal people are brainwashed and bribed by missionaries for conversion, why?

Matthew 13:9 - He who has ears, let him hear. The last commandment given to all followers by Yeshu himself is -“Go into all the world and proclaim the Gospel (good news) to the whole creation” (Mark 16:15). Good deeds (helping the needy, charity, etc) play a major role in the Faith. Most missionaries leave all their wealth, family and friends behind and they stay with the tribal people for the rest of their lives. Many go thru depression with lot of unknowns including threat to a life in a hostile environment. They are hardly given money to take care of themselves. There are some people who know nothing of the sacrifice they make. You might be asking why? Even though so many are persecuted, for Love of Christ they continue to share good news, foremost and important commandment of all. No amount of money/religion can purchase Yeshu's unconditional Love and a source of overflowing living water with Naya Jeevan (new life)...All Yeshu followers love sharing their God provided Forgiveness, Joy and Peace with others, which no one else can give or take away.

Upanayanam (Thread Ceremony) and Jal Samskar/Shuddhi (BaptIsm), are they same?

They are totally different. Upanayanam (thread) ceremony is a South Indian ritual restricted to Priest (Brahmin) males that grants them a guru who will reveal to them the secrets of the Veda,  learning and chanting Vedic Mantras including Gãyatri and Sandhyãvandana which will qualify him to be a true Brahmacharin. You become a Yeshu follower NOT by born into a certain privileged family or culture or tradition but only by experiencing the new life in Yeshu. Jal Samskar (Baptism) is an outward proclamation of an inward belief and change. Anybody can experience the new life with Yeshu and it is open to all (generations, nations, etc) regardless of your past. If you truly seek Yeshu, He may speak to you as a  friend, guru, teacher, and Father. He may give His Holy Spirit and a free gift of new life to you.

What is Paar Prayag Paarv (Passover), Poorna Prayag Paarv (Good Friday), and Maha-Mritunjay Mahotstav (Easter Sunday)?

Paar Prayag Paarv (Passover): Pesach in Hebrew is a Jewish festival celebrating the exodus from Egypt and the Israelite's freedom from slavery to the Egyptians. It is significant because Yeshu was killed at Passover time, and the Last Supper was a Passover meal.

Poorna Prayag Paarv (Good Friday): According to the Bible, the Yeshu was flogged, ordered to carry the cross on which he would be crucified and then put to death. Good Friday is good because Christ "showed His great love for man, and purchased for him every blessing".

Maha-Mritunjay Mahotstav (Easter Sunday):There is a lot of confusion, for some, Easter Sunday is about the Easter Bunny, colorfully decorated Easter eggs, and Easter egg hunts. It actually commemorates Yeshu defeating death and called resurrection day and it has no connection to the celebration of Easter eggs and the Easter bunny. (Ref:Easter Sunday)

Why pray? What is the point of prayer when God knows the future and is already in control of everything? If we cannot change God’s mind, why should we pray?
Prayer was an integral part of Yeshu time on earth, and He prayed regularly: “Yeshu often withdrew to lonely places and prayed” (Luke 5:16). One is the giving of thanks to the Father. Praise was a regular part of Yeshu prayers. Another theme is His communion with the Father; His relationship with His heavenly Father naturally resulted in His desire to spend time communicating with Him. (Ref: Yeshu Prayers). God intends prayer to be the means of obtaining His solutions in a number of situations. We pray in preparation for major decisions (Luke 6:12-13); to overcome demonic barriers (Matthew 17:14-21); to gather workers for the spiritual harvest (Luke 10:2); to gain strength to overcome temptation (Matthew 26:41); and to obtain the means of strengthening others spiritually (Ephesians 6:18-19). Prayer is our primary means of seeing God work in others' lives. Because it is our means of “plugging into” almighty’s power, it is our means of defeating Satan and his army that we are powerless to overcome by ourselves. We come to God with our specific requests, and we have God’s promise that our prayers are not in vain. (Ref: Prayers)

How do I hear God's voice? What kind of prayers are answered?

God primarily speaks to us through the Bible. Other methods can include through others, through creation, through prophetic revelation, through dreams, through circumstances, thru our hearts, etc. God's voice always leads you, refreshes you, calms you, gives you a hope etc..where as other voice (Satan) leads to scare, fear, worry, false hope, steal your joy and peace. There are about 650 different prayers in the Bible. God has instituted and commanded prayer and it was a lifestyle of the early church. It is a way lifting up our soul to God and drawing near to God in friendship, fellowship and trust. Prayer brings down the power of God and is essential for victory over evil. According to Bible - God will answer the prayers of His children, The righteous and fervent, The obedient, Godly living, Devout seeking God, and those who repent from wickedness. God will not answer the prayers of disobedient, unforgiving, unrepentant, spouse abusers, prideful, and the self righteous. Keep on praying, do not get discouraged because He doesn’t answer right away, but continually knock on His door. God knows what is best. Never lose hope and always seek God’s will and not your own.

Bible is a complex book and I get lost. Where do I begin?

The bible is not a single book or idea. It contains history, instruction, allegory, letters, prophecy, laws given to specific people groups, poetry, letters of encouragement, and so on. One beautiful aspect of Bible, it always speaks at your level whether you reading for 1st, 10th or 100th time. You will get something out of it every time you open a Bible to read. It always speaks truths/principles, never comfort with you a lie. Any first reading of the Bible should begin with New Testament (NIV or NLT). Yeshu own spoken words are in RED letters in most Bible print translations, and often spoke in parables with in-depth spiritual meaning.

-The core of the NT is 4 biographies of Yeshu:They are titled "Gospels" -  translates as 'good news'. Each is written to a different audience: Matthew is written to the Jews, and so emphasizes links to the OT/Tanakh and the prophecies recorded there. Mark is written to the Romans, a very no nonsense people, so is short and to the point. Luke was written to the Greeks, so is subtly written and plays with concepts. Finally, John (Disciple of Yeshu) is primarily written to establish divinity of Yeshu.

-First go to the gospel of John, which focuses on the things Yeshu claimed about Himself.  You can start 15-20 mins a day for 21 days (Book of John). Pray God at the end of each chapter what you read is True? Any principles you learned? See how your life get transformed after three weeks. Btw, this is not a trick.

-The Gospel of Mark is quick and fast-paced. Mark tells about what Yeshu did, while John tells about what Yeshu said and who Yeshu was. Reading the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke, John) will familiarize you with Christ’s life and ministry (teachings with promises, miracles, healing's, etc).

-Other than Gospels, there is a single history: the Book of Acts - detailing how Yeshu followers reacted to His life, teachings and resurrection.

-After that, read through Epistles (Romans, Ephesians, Philippians,  Romans, 1 Corinthians, 2 Corinthians, Galatians, Colossians, 1 Thessalonians, 2 Thessalonians, 1 Timothy, 2 Timothy, Titus, and Philemon); Hebrews; James; 1,2 Peter; 1,2,3 John; Jude and Revelation). They teach us how to live our lives in a way that is honoring to God, Faith,  Relationships, Leadership & Governance, etc.

-When you start reading the Old Testament, read the Book of Genesis. It tells us how God created the world and how mankind fell into sin, as well as the impact that fall had on the world. Yeshu is often referred as Son of David. Many add Book of Psalms, Book of Proverbs, Book of Isaiah, major and minor prophets to their daily readings as you mature.

-Don't be ashamed of reading Children's Bible Stories. They help you understand a lot of things. Also explore what is Bible exactly with good introduction. and Got questions site has tons of Bible Questions Answered! Focus of Yeshu message, Its His compassion, forgiveness and humanity. He also communicates Truths such as "Kingdom of God is within you". Stories about how He lived these values can be an inspiration for our lives...

Is Reading and knowing Bible sufficient? How does Dallas Indian Community Purpose Group (Satsang) assist in my walk?

Bible defines to know suggests a very close intimacy, just as a husband and wife are intimate in marriage (Genesis 4:1). It indicates experiential knowledge, not theoretical. Folks follow Yeshu is called body of Christ, similar to nose, eyes , ears, feet, hands with different function and work for same body. We are not alone and don't have to fight our battles (3 fold enemy) ourselves in this world. Yeshu's favorite commands are a) Love the Lord with all your heart, soul, and mind b) Love Your Neighbor as yourself. So, the early followers of Yeshu clearly emphasized the importance of Satsang. Yeshu Satsang (Dallas Indian Community Purpose Group) plays an important  role to support one another, strengthen experiences that allows us to learn, gain strength, and build lasting relationships with others.

Yeshu upside down teachings Yeshu teachings

  • “Poor in spirit” not identified with the materially poor or rich, refers to spiritual poverty. They can be poor or the rich, could live in total dependence on God. Those who humble themselves are able to admit our fragile nature, to repent, and to permit the love of God to guide us to reformation.
  • "Who mourn" refers to being saddened by the things that sadden God like sin and wretchedness of the world.  Those who are sincere and who have the compassion for those who suffer such as the lowly, the bereaved, the victim of injustice, the oppressed, the ones who experience poverty, loneliness, rejection, etc.
  • Meekness (or humble) refers to one that manifests self-control, is not passive resignation or servile conformism. To submit to God's will in all areas of your life. The meek are not easily provoked to anger, they have a heart that is tranquil, calm, serene, and peaceful.
  • Hunger and thirst refer to an ardent desire for God. It is a longing for what is upright, virtuous, and apply God's standards in your life. A desire for what is true and just. The satisfaction refers to an inner joy and peace that one can experience through his efforts in seeking God’s righteousness. It is a satisfaction found only in God.
  • Mercy is not merely a feeling or emotion, rather an action. The merciful are those whose heart is tender and who truly feel in the deepest parts of their being, the pain and the suffering of those who need help.
  • Pure in Heart speaks to be free of all selfish purposes and self-seeking motives, those whose motives are undivided, those who are sincere and single minded. Purity of heart involves being authentic. it refers to those who put God at the center of their lives. It also means total commitment to God’s will and plan.
  • Peacemakers - Live in Harmony. Peacemakers not only manifest peaceful lives but also work to share peace and friendship with others and to cultivate peace between God and man. You make peace by identifying the Truth according to scriptures. However, we cannot give others what we do not possess and first we must strive to achieve God's inner peace ourselves.
  • Persecution - It does not merely refer to any other kind but the persecution for righteousness - doing what is good. The importance of this is that even if we are wrongfully persecuted for belief or devotion to God, we shall be blessed eternally in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Are you a peacekeeper or peacemaker?

Yeshu tecahings PeaceMaker or Peacekeeper

  • We simply confuse between peacekeeper and peacemaker. We think we’re being peacemakers in the home, at work, or at congregation, but it’s actually the shadowy offshoot of glorified passivity known as peacekeeping. Peacekeeping is passive.
  • Peacekeepers try to keep a lid on a conflict at all cost, not rock the boat. A failure to address things now will only be magnified later. Peacekeeping is easier now, but everyone pays for it later. As best, that’s true in business, education, church, and family.
  • Peacekeepers tend to smooth things over, avoiding conflict at all costs in order to keep everyone content and the relationship intact. However, this is nothing more than pseudo-peace, and instead of healing a relationship, it fractures it even more.
  • Peacekeepers avoiding conflict or withholding truth will never build intimacy with person who you are trying to build relationship.
  • Peacekeepers tend to keep their issues to themselves in hopes of being seen as someone who doesn’t cause or feed into drama. They prefer to have things build up than to open up every time something bothers or offends them. The passive conflict approach is preferred in this case.
  • Be a peacemaker (look to Prince of Peace, Yeshu), not peacekeeper. Worldly peace teaches me to look out for number one, to vote for my interests only, and to pay the vulnerable and the unproductive no mind.
  • As Bible teaches, practice  loving, merciful, and forgiving attitude in all relations. Instead of blaming others for a conflict, we will trust in God’s mercy and take responsibility for our own contribution to conflicts – confessing our sins. Actively pursue genuine peace and reconciliation – forgiving others as God, for Christ’s sake, has forgiven us, and seeking just and mutually beneficial solutions to our differences.

Yeshu Peacemaker

  • Peacemaking is active.  Pure heart, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy, good fruits, impartial, sincere, willing to be patient and go extra mile, genuine love for others, etc.
  • Peace is not the absence of turmoil or conflict. Rather, it’s a sense of awareness & understanding, knowing that God is in control. Peacemakers deal with the root issue and pursue the Truth.
  • Peacemaker approaches conflict redemptively —working through real issues in order to discover a solution or a compromise. It requires having the necessary conversations, no matter how difficult.
  • Peacemakers are humble enough to pray for the person that hurt them. There are times that God changes other person, but God always changes peacemaker when humble to pray for that person.  God shows up in a heart that is humble enough to elevate someone else above ourselves.
  • Peacemakers are hard at work and act with spirit of God's power (not based on fear) and love and self-control.
  • Peacemakers pursue reconciliation at the risk of their own comfort, bold and involve in real engagement including confession. Peacemakers anticipate discomfort, and hang on because they know that it has to get worst before it gets better.
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. was a peacemaker. He gave a voice to a people who weren’t being heard and didn’t feel safe to speak.
  •  Abraham Lincoln was a peacemaker who put his career and life on the line to acknowledge and honor the inherent dignity of every person no matter the color of their skin.
  • Jesus of Nazareth was a peacemaker whose ultimate goal was to lead people into peace with the God of heaven. World is full of conflicts all around us causing pains and many do not know how to handle. Yeshu paved the path to peace for us to follow.

You are Salt and Light of this world

Yeshu Teachings You are the salt of the earth

  • The first metaphor, salt of the earth, has to do with with a sense of distinctiveness (not just simply useful, inwardly transformed) . It relates to one’s identity in the world.
  • As Yeshu follower, we are to season the world; such as by “seasoning your speech with salt” (Fruit of the Spirit -  love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control).
  • Salt in ancient times was as a healing antiseptic, in the same way you bring about inner healing, physical healing, emotional healing, etc.
  • Salt was also used as a wage (Salt money - Salt Covenant in the OT often used to make peace with God) in ancient times. Roman empire paid their soldiers in salt as a wage. So, the inferred understanding is that you are valuable.
  • Salt was as a preservative In a society that is spiritually corrupted and decaying, "salt of the earth” serves to preserve moral and spiritual purity.
  • As a follower of Yeshu, one need to live as pure a life as possible so that they can maximize their ability to "flavor" or bless others through their good works.
  • You may sometimes question your value and feel like you have little impact on the earth, or weak, or small, or not powerful enough. But so is a little kernel of salt that is bursting with flavor and potency to preserve and enhance flavor!
  • As Yeshu follower, we are to be the salt of the earth enhancing everything we come in contact with, acting as a life-preserving agent by proclaiming the Author of Life, and to avoid the hardness, bitterness, and flavorlessness of losing our testimony.
  • The Bible contains numerous references to salt. In various contexts, it is used metaphorically to signify permanence, loyalty, durability, fidelity, usefulness, value, and purification.

Yeshu Teachings You are the light of the world

  • The second metaphor, light of the world, has to do with a sense of destiny, outer impact. It relates to one’s influence in the world. Light not only shines also its power help plants, trees, etc grow and bear fruits.
  •  A hidden light is a useless light. The purpose of the lamp is to give a beacon of hope to this darker and oppressed world. The lamp shines best when it is darkest. Our ministry begins at transforming our own hearts, family, friends/relatives, society, etc. Let your light shine!
  • The world is full of darkness (commonly denotes ignorance, selfish/self-centered, prideful, rebellion, disobedience, dishonest, power hungry, dirty, divisive, ungodly, oppression, misery, evil, wickedness, lying, falsehood, etc..) and has been since the fall of man in the Garden of Eden. Since then Satan has held dominion, and the ways of the world have held sway in the hearts and minds of humankind. Yeshu tells his followers that they will be the ones to carry His light forth into the dark places of the world and the sinful human heart.
  • As Yeshu is the Light (Truth, there is no darkness in Him), you are to walk in Light in this hopeless world, walk in love as God is Love, live a life style of pure heart that reveals God's Goodness, Righteousness and Truth. The Light of Yeshu Never Grows Dim..
  • As follower of Yeshu, ask God to search your heart and thoughts to see if there be any wicked ways in you, put aside sinful attitude and habits, ask Yeshu to sanctify you & repent to give a clean slate (1 John 1:9). Engage the world and be on mission like Yeshu.
  • Bible describe our walk with Yeshu in many terms: “walk in the Spirit,” “walk as wise,” “walk in love,” and “walk by faith.” Walking in God’s light makes us sensitive to anything that would displease Him

Yeshu The Game Changer - Knocking, Will You Open Your Heart?

Yeshu Knocking Your Heart, Will you let Him in?

  • Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me” (Rev 3:20).
  • So what happens after we open the door? Does He come in and start pointing out our dirty laundry or rearranging the furniture? Some may not open the door for fear Yeshu intends to condemn us for all that is wrong with our lives.  however, Scripture makes it clear this is not the case. The verse goes on to explain that Jesus knocks on the door of our heart so that, “…He will dine with me.” The NLT says, “we will share a meal together as friends.”
  • We are still given a choice. Even if we hear His voice, He leaves it up to us whether to open the door and invite Him in. Yeshu has come for the relationship. He does not force His way in, or arrive in order to condemn us; rather, Yeshu knocks on the door of our heart in order to present a free gift – the gift of Himself so that through Him, we may become Children of God.  Will you open the door and invite Yeshu into your heart? Yeshu Parables Jesus

  • Yeshu often used parables to teach deeper heavenly spiritual truths, intended for all seekers who have ears to hear.  A parable is a story told to illustrate a truth. Yeshu's parables were teaching aids and can be thought of as extended analogies, comparing two things or ideas.
  • There are over 30 parables of Jesus recorded in the Synoptic Gospels (the Gospel of John has none) and 100 total in the Bible.
  • The main themes of parables are: God's nature, qualities, attitudes in dealing with people; How Kingdom works, shared, what we should act if we hope to "enter the kingdom" ...; Relationship with our neighbor. How we should relate to all those we interact with as well as the greater community. ; The fulfillment of the kingdom.
  • When people talk about the ministry of Yeshu, it's easy to focus on his miracles. Yeshu performed some amazing feats that the world had never seen (and hasn’t seen since). But one of the most exciting things about His ministry was  Jesus taught using parables—simple stories intended to impart a spiritual lesson.

Yeshu Jesus The Game Changer

  • There have been many people throughout history who have changed the way we function in the world. They were brave enough to follow their hearts and mind, are remembered for their specific contributions. But did they really change the world? Did anyone gave their life for your and family sake?
  • But only One came to change the world itself– Yeshu, who is most revered  (2.18 billon followers) even after 2000 plus years. He came to rescue from sin/corruption/darkness exist in human hearts. When you trusted in Him, you were snatched out of this world and placed into His Kingdom. John described this as “being in the world, but not of the world.”
  • The two halves of God’s story pivot around one central point: the coming of Yeshu. Yeshu lived only for 33 years &  3 years of ministry, Yeshu's arrival is so significant, He split the history in to two i.e. BC and AD. Jesus’s coming was the great game-changer of history.
  • Yeshu has made an indelible mark on human history and he continues to do so through His followers. Yet many people do not realize that the modern values and freedoms you & I enjoy are built on originate in the life and teachings of Yeshu - the equality of all, servant leadership, care for the poor and marginalized, to name just a few.
  • Nothing in history is certain, however, we do have some pieces of evidence, and what we have is better explained by the existence of Yeshu than his non-existence. It may seem strange to you, but the New Testament is the most well attested document in history. If you have 200 manuscripts of a particular document, that is significant. However, for the New Testament there over 5800 manuscripts in Greek, and 8000 Latin manuscripts says about authenticity.
  • Who would have ever thought that Jesus would still be so popular? Liived and died 2000 years ago? It is strange because Yeshu died in obscurity, and in a state of utter and complete humiliation, was crucified on a cross. Yet today, people are still talking about him. According to a study, Jesus is followed by around 33% of the world’s population. For a person who never led an army, never held government office, never had children, never wrote anything but who died on a cross in obscurity 2000 years ago, this is remarkable.

Why Pure Heart is important

What is Forgiveness and why is it important

What is Forgiveness and why is it important

Yeshu Friend Pure Heart

  • We often refer to the heart as the center of emotion, and the mind as the center of intellect. But Bible describes Its he center of the emotions as well as the mind. And it included the thinking process. Prov 23:7 says, "As [a man] thinks in his heart, so is he."
  • Being pure does not mean being flawless. A good translation of the word pure would be "single" or "focused." So to it means single-minded , live a holy life, because that is the secret to happiness. If you want to be happy, then seek to be holy. Don't chase after worldly happiness.
  • Man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart (1 Samuel 16:7). From the heart are all the issues of life. Biblical purity is better described as spiritual single-mindedness and whole-heartedness.
  • We may still aim at seeking God's will, but at the same time, but  things in the world such as wealth, success, material objects, and entertainment can attract our hearts, don’t even realize our heart has become divided until we notice how dry and unhappy we’ve become.
  • Deceit, or impurity of heart, is what we do when we will two things, rather than one. We do one thing and want people to believe we do another.
  • A pure heart has no hypocrisy, no guile, no hidden motives/agenda's; It is marked by transparency and an uncompromising desire to please God in all things. It is more than an external purity of behavior; it is an internal purity of soul.
  • A pure heart draw close to God gives good conscience, a sense of clear direction, untouchable, satisfaction, peace, fulfilment and fullness of joy. Keep your thoughts and motives pure in all you do, and you will have the best spiritual insurance policy for your eternal life!

Yeshu Forgiveness

  • Forgiveness in Hebrew connects to the word “mochul,” meaning a circle. When someone hurts us the circle is broken. Forgiveness is the way we mend the fracture.
  • God promises that, when we come to Him confessing our paap and asking for forgiveness, He freely grants it for the sake of Christ (1 John 1:9). Likewise, the forgiveness we extend to others should have no limits (Luke 17:3–4).
  • The greatest forgiveness of all—is an act of God, by which He releases sinners from judgment, and frees us from the divine penalty levied because of our sins.
  • Those who have been forgiven by God are transformed into forgiving people, and it does allow the peace of God back into our lives.
  • Forgiveness is  a choice and a core of emotional well-being, something all of us want to receive but most of us hesitate to give. If we allow unforgiveness to continue, we are likely to experience depression, bitterness, or both. Yet more importantly  alienation from God.
  • We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive. There is some good in the worst of us and some evil in the best of us. When we discover this we are less prone to hate our enemies. (MLK Jr)
  • Lack of forgiveness blocks access to the kingdom and to miracle power. Forgiving can be one of the hardest things to do, but remember  “Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you” (Ephesians 4:32).
  • Have I confessed myself and received God’s forgiveness? Is there anyone whom I I need to ask forgiveness? Is there anyone has asked me for forgiveness, but I have refused forgive? Is there anyone I am holding a grudge against for past wrongs? Am I blaming God for my situation?

Why love and pray for an enemy

Yeshu Teachings Enemies Prayer

  • Hating an enemy is what comes natural. Only with God's supernatural help, by the grace of God, and the power of the Holy Spirit at work in us, that we can love our enemies.
  • It was when we were still God’s enemies (Colossians 1:21 and Romans 5:10) that He demonstrated His love for us. Through Jesus (Romans 5:8) God’s love brought  Moksha (salvation) to us.
  • Do not repay anyone evil for evil but Overcome the evil thing done with good. It is not people, Scripture states that our chief enemy is Satan. “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms” (Ephesians 6:12).
  • Your greatest enemy has come to steal, kill and destroy. Can use other people to carry out his plans. But no one can stop your blessings, God of justice reveals and He promises "Vengeance is mine, I will repay",  and won’t let enemies succeed against you.
  • Again, God sets an example “Love your enemies! Do good to them. Lend to them without expecting to be repaid. Then your reward from heaven will be very great, and you will truly be acting as children of the Most High, for he is kind to those who are unthankful and wicked.” (Luke 6:35)
  • Nothing is to small or big for God,  Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus”.

Love and Action

Synoptic Gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke

Why love and pray for an enemy

Yeshu Love in Action

  • For most love means nice feelings, warm affection, romance, and desire reflecting  selfishness, the very opposite of agape love i.e. Self–giving love, that demands something of us, love that is more concerned with giving than receiving,
  • God demonstrated His love by sending His Son Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life on our behalf (John 3:16, Ephesians 5:1-2).
  • Yeshu told His disciples to go and do likewise, after He washed their feet in an act of humble service.
  • God is love. So, Paul exhorts the Colossians to clothe themselves with compassion and kindness, to forgive, emphasize it is better to love than to have all the gifts and abilities in the world
  • As John explains, “Let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth” (1 John 3:18). He gave profound command " Love one another.”
  • It’s important to remember that love is primarily an action word (not bunch of sweet talk) in the Bible, not an emotion. Paul tells us in 1 Corinthians, “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self-seeking.. ” (Chapter 13).
  • Love is the distinguishing mark of all Yeshu followers - how they conduct themselves at work place with honesty and integrity, interact with spouses and children, live differently in the society, demonstrating love consistently toward others, etc.
  • Jesus tells us that we are the light of the world. We reflect the love and goodness of our Savior in the way we live our lives. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that. (MLK Jr)

Synoptic Gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke

Synoptic Gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke

Synoptic Gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke

Matthew, Mark, Luke Synoptic Gospels

  • The Gospels are not modern day auto-biographies (Birth, achievements with dates, etc), but their focus is more on unchanging character and extraordinary life & teachings (miracles, healings, parables, etc) of Yeshu and  that readers might know for themselves that Jesus is the Christ (anointed one - The Messiah, its not Jesus's last name).
  • The core purpose of the synoptic Gospels is to proclaim the good news.  Knowing this helps us better understand the history of the gospels and how they relate to the mission of Yeshu.
  • Matthew was originally written for a Jewish audience emphasizes Yeshu fulfillment of OT prophecy - Messiah; Mark for a Roman audience condensed establishes about Jesus servanthood; Luke  Jesus as the remedy of the world’s ills, emphasizing His perfect humanity and humane concern for the weak, the suffering, and the outcast.
  • Synoptic Gospels mean similar in nature " to see together with a common view" (three different accounts about  one person).
  • The Gospel of Matthew was written by Matthew the apostle, one of the twelve who followed Jesus and were commissioned by Him. Gospel of Mark was written by John Mark, a close associate of the apostle Peter, another one of the twelve. Gospel of Luke was written by Dr.Luke, a close associate of the apostle Paul.
  • Each of the Gospels is ultimately inspired by the Holy Spirit (2 Timothy 3:16–17; 2 Peter 1:20–21). Therefore, we should expect coherence and unity.

Gospel of John

Synoptic Gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke

Synoptic Gospels - Matthew, Mark, Luke

Gospel of John Yeshu Good News

  • Gospel of John a unique book emphasizes Jesus’ divinity by selecting many conversations and sayings of Jesus on the subject and also including "signs" (seven I am statements) that prove He is the Son of God and Messiah, whoever believes in him might have eternal life.
  • John, a close follower of Jesus, did not include the nativity story in his gospel; instead, he introduced his book by going back even further into history. Invoking the “in the beginning” language of Genesis 1:1, John made a direct link between the nature of God and the nature of the Word, Jesus Christ.
  • While the other Gospels emphasize the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven, John instead emphasizes on how we all can find find new life in Jesus. It’s from John that we get Christ’s famous claim: “I am the way, and the truth and the life...
  • John records more metaphors of Jesus like  I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.’” —John 6:35;  I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.’” —John 8:12, etc.
  • John wrote “those who have not seen” physical Jesus - Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed’" (John 20:29). Clarification on how you can get new life - Jesus tells Nicodemus he must be born again thru repentance and spirit and the Samaritan woman at the well..
